Mylex SCSI raid controller $59

That is sure a funky website. They have good prices on a few items, but most of the other stuff is way overpriced. I have some of the stuff they have and I sure wish I could sell it for those prices.
 
i just bought one (only 2 left).... their reseller rating was 2.7/7, kinda bad but most of the complaints were because of shipping problems. ill tell you guys what happens. if worse comes to worse and the card i get is bad then ill RMA it back to Mylex, assuming its the AcceleRAID 352 (no other mylex card has 2 channels and 68 pin interfaces, plus thats what the picture on CD's site is of) then its got a 3 year warranty.

if all goes well i could be getting a $231 raid card for $67 shipped.... **crosses fingers**

OMFG me = lamer, lol. look at the item #, D040469-16E. i cant find a D040469-16E but i can find a D040469, if this is the card i ordered its aSS. heres the specs

is Ultra scsi 68pin? i thought only Ultra Wide was 68pin. i guess ill find out when i get the card... if it is the aSS card im sure i can find an idiot to buy it for atleast $67. lol 🙂

I wonder if they come with any memory. Requires ECC simms. May have been suckered here. I guess we will find out.
 
mrrisotto- It's gotta be wide if it does 15 devices per channel. Narrow would be only 8. Must be ultra wide, specs just give the protocols for the types it supports.
 
i just hope they mess up my order and send me a AcceleRAID 352. that would kick aSS! i would pewp my pants right then and there if they did.

Guaranteed it is the (discontinued) DAC card. These guys mostly sell stuff that is long discontinued. I bought a couple of the "computer buddies" from them which were $10 with original MSRP of like $250 - they were from 1998.
 
maybe i should send tons of emails asking questions about the AcceleRAID 352.... they might get confused and send me it.

man they'd be idiots if they sent you a 352. Youre looking at like $600 for that card. You'd still be in good shape if it was a 170.
 
sweet.... i sent them 2 emails asking to cancel my order, and they were a bit nasty too. anyways i called them up this morning and they said the order WAS cancelled.

did someone from AT buy the 2nd one? if so lmk how it does.
