If you have been there for a decent time; talk the the client about what it would take for you to jump ship to direct or as an independant.

Because of the contract that both the OP and company both signed, if he gets hired directly by them within a certain amount of time, the agency will be owed big bucks. It's BS, but everyone agreed to it.
