My wireless connection isnt getting a signal.

I have a Linksys Wireless G Router (WRT54G) and a Linksys Wireless B USB adapter. I have four computers wired to the router and the interenet works fine on all four.

For some reason I cant pick up any networks on the computer that has the wireless adapter. I have tried changing the connection modes... eg b only, g only ect.

Iv tried the wireless on two computers but it doesnt seem to work. Im only about 10-15 feet away from the router.


Any suggestions on what is going on are appreciated.

and what mode (ad-hoc, infrastructure) is the router and card in ?

Yes security is off, and its on infrastructure mode.

Make sure your SSID is set correctly.

I'm actually having the same problem however i am using a -b router (Linksys BEFW11S4) and a -b pci adaptor (Linksys WMP11). All the computer connected the the router using cat5 are working fine however the only computer connected via wireless is cannot be seen.

Using Netstumbler with the WMP11 -b pci card, I can't even see my router. I can see 2-3 other routers around me, but not mine.

Any ideas???

I installed another driver and the connection works now.
