Ok, here's the deal. I have a 3200+ (see sigg for full sys specs). My system just will not run stabely at stock speeds. It crashes less than 5 minutes after booting. Even when im typing out something in word!!! I've read that some mobos under-volt some components so I set vcore manually to 1.4v and vdimm manually to 2.7v. No help.
I got a newer modded bios, no help. I've relaxed my mem timings, no help. I've reduced the multiplier, no hlep. I've tried diff HTT, LDT, mem ratio settings, all with diff voltage settings, no help. So many different combinations of settings, I've come to one conlusion, my system is more stable when OC'd than at default!!! How is this possible? At 2.6ghz (see sig) it run well, but after like 40 minutes of HL2, it restarts/crashes to the desktop/gives me a BSD (blank, no text).
I've run prime95 stabely for hours without error, memtest for passes without errors, 3dmark crashes after around 40 minutes, Doom3 and MoH
A also crash similarly. I dont know what to do any more. This is really frustrating! Help anyone?
