My Wii died on me...I think

Long story short. My Wii appears to be dead. It will not power on when I press the power button. What I have done so far is unplug and plug back in all cables and I have also tried a different outlet which I am certain works. No effect.

Aside from swapping out the power cable, is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot? I plan to call Nintendo tonight when I get home, but I was thinking maybe there was something simple that I could do first that I am either not thinking of or aware of. Thankfully, it is still under warranty if nothing else.

Well, I called Nintendo up and one of their automated responses provided me with the solution and it did turn out to be an easy fix.

The Problem:

As it turns out, the power cord + adapter that is attached to it will sometimes experience a hiccup which prevents the Wii from receiving power. These hiccups can be caused for a variety of reasons including power surges which I believe is what happened in my case.

The Solution:

Unplug the power cord from both the Wii and the jack on wall or surge protector. Leave the cord unplugged for a minimum of 2 minutes (mine was left unplugged overnight). Doing so will reset the adapter on the cord. Plug everything back in and turn on your Wii. Voila!
