The battery on my wife's watch died a while ago, so we finally went to walmart and they replaced it. Now it runs counterclockwise. I took off the back and checked the battery and it is in correctly (you can't put it in the wrong way).

Is there a way to fix it? Beat it with a hammer? Firmware upgrade? (no I'm not serious) "... Profit" jokes are encouraged, but I would also like real answers.

I tried a bunch of google searches, but it was extremely difficult finding anything relevant.

Really? I didn't know that. Even if their clocks move "anti-clockwise", the numbers on the face would still be screwed up.

I'd leave it that way...that's kind of cool. Does it still keep time accurately if you read it in reverse?

I don't know... it looks as if it does, but I haven't timed it or anything. That would be hard as hell to read though.

Remove power cell. Pull crown out to hack position. (stop second hand).

Insert power cell, depress crown to run position. Should work normally.

Didn't work. I tried 3 times, but will attempt a few more.

On the last time the second hand fluttered for 3 seconds like it was thinking about going the other way, but it's still going backwards.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

How much will you pay me for it?

Ill trade you the watch that came with Halo 2 for it.
Oooh, I would, but this isn't the FS/FT forum, and I wouldn't want to break any forum rules. :)
