Burlap sack + concrete block + bridge = problem solved.

I do hope you are joking, that's a pretty cruel thing to say. :disgust:

At least do something humane with them.

That is prefectly humane. Drowning kills fairly quick, and is fairly painless. Besides, its an animal.

I disagree, that is bullcrap, you treat all your animals that way? You don't like an animal, kill it. Great bully for you.

People have already given other suggestion, a school, shelter, there are ways, up to the owner. Whatever.........

I dont have animals. They are disgusting to have in a house. I'd be more upset if someone drowned a bag of computer paper. At least that has value.

Do you realize how many thousands of pets get put down by shelters?

Why don't you set them free

It'll just starve to death, generally considered worse than drowning.

A couple years ago, my friends found a (clearly domestic) rabbit wandering arount the parking lot of their APT complex. It was emaciated -- nearly starved. They fed it for a while and took it to a shelter, but I'd bet it was by someone who had a similar idea to yours. Domesticated animals just don't know how to survive on their own, except some cats, really (and a few dogs).

your local rabbit rescue group doesn't sound very effective. why are they discriminating against your city-bred rabbits?

the local House Rabbit Society said they won't take them. I don't know their reason. Thats all I got from my wife. They normally house the rabbits till somebody comes along and adapts them. I guess they're out of space...

Tell the Rabbit Society to put some of the other animals who've been there a while to sleep so yours can get a chance to get adopted, too.

fvcktard  you are just a big macho man, arent you? animals have less pragmatic value than a stack of paper, but they are living things with feelings and the ability to feel pain. if you claim they dont have feelings, then you clearly are stupid, never had an animal, or both. idiot.

Yes, duh, I am well aware of how many animals are put down in shelters. They don't have a choice but to put the animals down, sometimes. But, the owner does have a choice. Exhaust all possible options. It is owners that are not responsible, that neglect their pets, letting them roam, get pregnant, don't spay, or nueter. It is owners like that, that don't help the pet population.

I have had animals all my life, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, etc. It is up to me to be a responsible pet owner, I took on that animal in the first place. To be so flippant, and selfish, to get rid of an animal like it is a piece of garbage in my book is simply wrong. Sad thing is, it happens all the time. At least I know I try, others...........don't give a damn.
