Sucks that you're busting your balls to provide for her and the family and she pulls this crap.

I'll keep ya in my prayers. Can you two see your pastor/preacher? These kinds of hardships happen and every relationship can be tough at times. I hope you two can get back on track.
 
thanks everyone, she works fulltime regular hours. and has a cleaning job on the side 2nights a week.

for those of you self employed it's been rough financially keeping my business going. I'm thinking about going full-time at the lab and trying to do more work online instead of driving all over the place.

edit: yes she does work, very hard. we make about the same money.
 
praying won't help much in this situation, action is what is needed.

but this is coming from someone who is single, but one thing i have learned is nothing will happen with you sitting on your ass.

i fell sorry for the kids the most. they will be hurt the most.

Well then the way I see it you both have a ton of stressors in your lifes right now. Hopefully you can be strong together.
 
for love of family, hope you two could compromise and sacrifice for each other... remember marriage vows, take time off, let go of things...
 
That sucks. I think you might want to quit one of the jobs if you can afford to, it might save your marriage.
 
why do you both have to work so much....I could see you doing two jobs if your the only one working but she is to thier is no reason you should work that much. think about lowering your standard of living (smaller house), because beleave me if you get a divorce your going to be paying child support out of your ass and will defenatly have to cheapen your life style

Good luck! Get off the computer and find a good family therapist. There's always tons more than one issue.
 
I hope you can work things out, but you are going to need to make some BIG changes. Work no more then 40 hours and week and spend the rest of your time with them.

Which translates into she wants to bang another dude for a while...been through that before!!

Sorry, but you need to go see a lawyer, pronto.

When woman says she wants some time to see if things will "work out", she really means that she's already done, but doesn't want to tell you just yet.

Hire a lawyer, and get mean if you have to. It will be best for you and your children.

In the meantime, get some counseling or talk your feelings out with a good friend. Take care of your grief that way, don't let the wife use it against you.

And believe me, she will.....simply because you don't believe that she will.

FWIW, sometimes those "timeouts" from married life don't necessarily spell the end...my folks separated for a year when I was growing up, they even started dating other people 🙁 . But they decided to give it one last shot .... and it lasted another 33 years until my dear old dad passed away this past summer.

You obviously had something good going when you started out, sometimes that good stuff gets lost in the mundane details of daily life, especially with the economy being so difficult.

Hang in and work hard on it....

good luck with that, man. stop posting on AT!!!! it's just a time wasted, sounds like your wife needs that time for her and the kids.
