a "Swinger's Club!!!:Q" I can't beleive she was serious. I don't have any clue what or who any of the other "Swingers" are. After 12 years of marriage, I wonder if she is getting bored?

I can't believe it went this long without the question?!!!

No, we still do the "other thing" and have no problems in that department (that I'm aware of ;) ) As for my answer, I just said, "Nah." Again, I'm not sure she was serious. I don't think I can take the thought of being where someone else has been, so I don't know if I would even consider something like this.

If you love your wife don't do it.

No way will the marriage be the same after the experience. She'll either think shes falling for someone else or you will. It will end in hurt.

Whats with asking for pics in a thread like this?

I wouldn't ask for pics in a thread like this. This is pretty serious when a guys wife ask to join a swingers club........

Good luck dude.

This is a bad sign.

Well... looks like you're going to have to spice up your love life, real quick! I would post some tips but I might get banned...

1. It's called humor. A guy says "I wonder if she is getting bored?" on ATOT.... he is going to get humorous responses.
2. Pretty serious.... that depends on your view. I have been told that I was making fun of a serious issue when I told co-workers that my wife had a bun in the oven. Hello!!! I impregnated her... What's the deal?
3. No where does it appear that compudog is at all in inner turmoil or throwing dust on his back while kneeling on the ground asking God what has he done.

Dude... Lighten up and enjoy the life you are living.

[edit]Compudog... If you are currently kneeling and throwing dust onto your back.... I am sorry. Here is my advise. Stand up. Take a shower. Sit with your wife and ask her all of the questions you have. Make sure that you don't stop talking with her about this until you are at the point where you know you wont continue the dust throwing. [/edit]

Naturally I expect humorous responses. But I was really just interested in what the ATOT community thought. I think our marriage is in decent shape. We have two kids (one five year old son and one three year old daughter.) We certainly have our share of probs (mostly money) but our relationship isn't bad. Why would she even ask? Does she want to "spice it up?" Who knows?

The "partners" of the Van Damns had absolutely nothing to do with the death of their daughter. Their neighbor was charged, tried, and convicted for the crime. Do you just make this sh!t up for fun, or do you actually believe it?

She really might be interested. I would never agree to it with my wife just because, as it has been stated above, I can't see trust being there after something like that.

if you are at all interested in joining a swingers club, what would it hurt to find out more info. If you aren't interested at all... make sure she knows.

Why on earth would you even care what they thought? You should be wondering what your wife is thinking

Exactly. Why the interest in each of you having sex with others, what's motivated that. Hopefully you'll find out and she'll be honest with you. "It was just a thought" shouldn't suffice as a response. Who knows, she may even have been doing reverse psych on you to see if you were thinking of sex with others.

David Westerfield was one of the Van Damn's 'partners'. STFU juice for you.

actually, in all fairness, westerfield was not one of the swinger partners. he was a neighbor, a creepy one at that, but that is all. he only talked to brenda on a couple occasions (girl scout cookies, at a bar when he bought her and her friends drinks) that was about the extent of their relationship.

I dunno, I kind of like the thought of whats mine, staying that way. I'm not very good at sharing, Barney would be disappointed in me. ;)

Why am I always the one to wake everyone up? *sigh* I do what I gotta do.

If your wife was serious, then your marriage is over. Swinger's Clubs are spouse-swapping clubs. Some guy comes to your house and picks your wife up and they go out on a date and then they do the deed...in all the positions you never thought of.

Conversely, you go to his house and do his wife. Either your wife will fall in lust (love?) with some other guy or you will with some other woman...that's the only possible outcome.

I'd consult a divorce lawyer, PRIVATELY, w/o her knowledge....SOON. Why? You can bet your ass she already has.

You really don't have a clue do you? Westerfield was not one of the Van Dam Swinging Partners.

Yeah, but alternatively it could be a thing where you show up at some party and have a big orgy. Seems less of a problem to the marriage then.

But really, compudog, are you serious or pulling our legs? Let us know what she says.

Pics :)
