So I was sitting in bed watching the Lightning/Phoenix game last night. My wife was watching too! Excellent, an opportunity to make sure she keeps up to date with her sports. So I say to her "name three players on the Lignting".

We live in Tampa and she is pretty good and learning about sports, so I figured she'd be able to get a few. The first name she comes up with..... Bobby-Shulik.

So I'm like... wtf, who? She repeats it, Bobby-Shulik. So I ask her who the fuck is that. She explains he's really famous. After I minute I realize she's not joking and she thinks this guy exists. So I start going through famous hockey players she might know. After about 10 minutes I stumbled upon who she was talking about....

Khabibulin! Ex-Goalie for the Tampa Lightning. Ahhh!!! Wives.... heheh... they are most certainly not funny.

I know hockey regardless of team and I have no clue WTF you're talking about. Bobby-Shullik sounds something like Khabibulin in your wifes language?
