We've been through 4 different doctors. That last doctor finally sent us to a GI specialist and this guy is awesome.

Two thirds of the population have h. pylori in them, but it rarely causes a problem. They found out it is what causes ulcers. They're guessing you get it when you're an infant through oral to oral contact or fecal to oral contact. The doctor said it is not contagious, but I did read somewhere that you can burp it back up into your mouth and they live briefly, so I bet it can be passed by tongue kissing...
