I?m cooling off from my first beginner workout and I like it. Anyone else use this machine?

I desperately need to get back in shape and loose weight for medical reasons and this looks like it will work for me. Along with proper diet of course.

I've used it. Suprisingly high quality machine. I feel like a fool using it :D, but it gave me a decent workout without hurting my knees.

are there any other machines that are below $200 that'll:
  • increase your energy level and alertness
  • strengthen your heart and lungs for greater endurance.
  • reduce the effects of stress to improve your mental and physical health.
  • burn more calories so you can better manage your weight.
  • tone and shape your muscles to preserve lean muscle mass.

Wifey got it on one of those QVC payment plans. I would look into it if I were you.

Like my doctor said to me "Nothing tastes as good as thin."

She won't tell me what she paid for it but here is the link.

I really like the heart rate monitor.

Got a Gazelle Freestyle. Very good for working up a sweat without hurting my (pathetically weak) knees. Combined with a severe lack of appetite, I've lost 15 pounds in the last 3 weeks.

I'd like a Gazelle in my house. However, Tony Little is not invited to my house.

I'm thinking about getting a Gazelle Power Plus or a Nordic Track CX925 elliptical machine.

Any advice?

whats the difference between the volution and the regular gazelle? my wife got the regular one about 3 months ago, ive used it some, but being new years, im going to start eating less....eating better, and getting some exercise regularly. i kinda like the thing, its a tad strange, but seems to work well enough

I think the regular had an optional thumbpulse. My evolution has metallic bands on each handle grip that are a lot easier to use or not.
