My wife does not like the vacuum

She claims the noise stresses her out. It's too late to go back now. What should I do? Are high-end vacuums quieter?
 
Ask her to go along with you to the store and find one that she like (have it tested on site), and/or get her a wireless noise cancelling headphones.
 
How often does she vacuum? Are you sure its not the responsibility of cleaning that stresses her out?

That just sounds like the kind of pathetic excuse you would get from a whiny teenager.

I some what agree.

My ex don't mind cleaning, but she doesn't like vacuuming as much because of the noise. However, she love sweeping the floor everyday after I install hardwood floor.

Whoa there - slow it down a second. We may be able to forgive such a lapse in her womanly duties IF we can determine the pointy-ness of her elbows and her sammich making abilities

So OP - does she have pointy elbows or make a super tasty sammich?
