This is where my wife and I disagree... I'm all for the surprise, but she insists that she'd want to find out what it is so she can plan... no fun in that.

I intitially wanted to know, but changed my mind. Then I started referring to the surprise as the "Wang Lottery"....the wife was not amused. 😛


Anyway, I'm glad I waited to find out.

Get ready for a lot of "You're life is about to change and will never be the same" conversations, plus people asking if you know what the sex is, when the due date is, how your wife is doing, are you ready/excited, etc.

As we speaking, by wife is in the early stages up labor, and by the end of the day our first born son will be here! Lots of excitement on my side; pain on my wifes - but thanksfully for her drugs are helping here get through those painful contractions!

Embrace every year because they will FLY by. Before you know it that kid will be in high school. I think kids make time go by ever faster or make you more aware of how fast time's been slipping by 🙂

Congrats. It was two years ago around Christmas time that my wife and I found out that she was pregnant. Now we have a 16 month old healthy baby boy who is walking, talking and loves to explore.

Mrsskoorb says that to, but I still maintain you need a kid to be called a "family" in my classical sense of it. A cat counts!
