My weird life. Today's strange event.

A long time ago (like 20 years ago)I wrote a book about holographic projection, I do get inquiries about my books every so often.

Earlier today I received a strange phone call someone with a british/asian accent who read aloud sections of the book and then asked questions about security and what's happened recently in holographic projection.

He then asked me to meet him in Manhattan tomorrow for an interview - he says he's looking for someone to manage a project for his company and told me I was recommended by a former client. Wow, you never know when your past will come back to surprise you.

Fortunately my BF works at a Park Ave law firm (he's a forensic accountant) so I asked him to research this strange dude and see if it is a legitimate company. Turns out yes, it's legitimate, and very well funded.

I'm really bored with my life now, so I decided I'll go and meet with this guy.

BF took me shopping this afternoon for proper business attire. Wow, that stuff is expensive. BF took me out for dinner so I could practice wearing nice clothes (he usually doesn't mind that I normally wear my Hello Kitty jammies all day). Dinner was lovely.

It's been a long time since I had a serious interview like this. Wish me luck.

P.S. I called my former client - he says this guy is working on some game display devices - and that it's something I might be interested in.

Will report back tomorrow. Don't expect much but it might make an interesting story.

security for holographic projections? what's that about?

Maybe I should report you and your research to the Federal Trade Commission?

My gut tells me you're about break some sort of embargo and send tech to China.

Guy who called you is NSA. This is a sting. You show up, you're screwed and it will show you're complicit in a new holoprojection terrorist scheme. Do not do it!!

Please convinve him into building a holodeck 😛

Holographic only caters to the visual cortex. Please also add a tactile input and feedback for the "game". Just sayin'.

This isn't weird. Eating pizza box cardboard and spraying bug spray on geese poop is weird. What you described above is in fact, quite normal.
