We have all of this money due (That we don't have...partly because of Hot Deals Forum), we have anyone and everyone calling asking the same stupid questions, I have my soon to be mother in law gnawing at my brain through my ears, the house is a wreck due to renovations, etc.

But...I am so in love with my girl that it is all worth it.

Anyone with encouraging words please help me out!

just think 50 years from now you will look back and see your wife who you still love, and remember these days.. and they will be happy memories... (that should be encouraging)

Just went through the same thing (12/29/00). We paid our florist bill in March. Psycho was so stressed because he wanted everything perfect. He printed the wedding programs the day of the wedding, picked up a few extra gifts, etc. etc. etc. It gonna get worse before Sat. But its worth it. :)

Try a crash course in meditation.;)

Seriously, hope all goes well. If ya get to stressed, take they time to day dream about your soon to be wife, that will re-enforce that all the BS is more than worth it.:)

Good Luck!

Just think-in about 20 years your kids will be getting married and you will go through all that stress again. My niece just got married so I got to view this again first-hand.

Congrats, btw.

Well, that is the most important thing. All of the other things will work themselves out. :D

I can relate man. My wedding is this coming Sat. (May 19th). It's been hectic, but I just keep thinking about that perfect moment when I see her come down that isle. ALl of the stress, headaches and fights will be worth it. Don't panic, everything will work itself out in the end. Good luck.

Is your soon-to-be mother-in-law named Kim? And did you have problems with your marriage license? You sound like my wife's cousin's fiance. :)

Man I remember this feeling. I don't have any parents of my own to help us out, and her parents are Asian. So my wife and I had to make all the decisions ourselves. STRESS.

But in the end, very well worth it. Congratulations and have a blast on the honeymoon!

Lol, I remember my wedding vividly.

It was in August of '91, the air conditioner at the church froze up and died, and wasn't revived until 20 minutes before the wedding. It was about 100 F, and I was sweating like crazy from a combo of anxiety and heat. I stumbled half a dozen times during my little speech thing, and couldn't help but notice the smiles on about 400 faces that looked like they wanted to snicker. The only thing that kept me from having an anxiety attack was the Xanax my best man was thoughtful enough to supply before the ceremony began ;).

But it turned out OK, and I'm still with the woman I love. I just thought of the "for better or worse", and deemed the ceremony was one of those worse things, and got through it ;). Of course my wife has nothing but fond memories of the wedding itself, which I suppose is the important thing. Most men wouldn't care to get married by a judge and be done with it. The ceremony is for the woman, and she deserves it, so just do the best you can to make it special for her.

Wow - lots of weddings coming up. Congratulations to all of you! Just remember that the bride and the groom are usually the only people who will know if something goes wrong. :)
