My web page

You weren't going for professional were you? If so, stuff like this really doesn't work:

"Mainly because i'm clueless when it comes to photoshop, and it coexist's with dreamweaver better (of course thats my opinion)."

And you should have the sites open in a new window.

yeah i was thinkin the same thing bout the colors, and yeah i made the elements in fireworks. and then used an "I" frame for the text in the middle....

Also, the blue links don't look good against the dark background. The about page doesn't work. The leg doesn't line up all the time ..

I don't see what is wrong with anything I said. Sorry, I'll keep my constructive criticism to myself from now on.

Deslocke, i'm glad you told me what was wrong, with my professionalism... any other constructive criticism would help too

the pictures on "Sites" are HUGE! 117KB for each image....should be much smaller than that, especially for their size. I'm on cable, but it took a few seconds to get them still..on dialup, it'd be painful

Yeah, png isn't the best .. save 'em as gifs or jpgs.

Ok, a few things I've noticed:
  • The navigational bar does not exhibit enough contrast. This is something that needs to be changed, because it is very difficult to see (and it might be worse for someone who is color blind).
  • I hope when this thing goes live, that you are going to run your stuff through a spell checker. Also, avoid slang on a professional page. Nobody gives a sh!t what crap you put on a personal web page, or If yOu tAlK iN tEh AoL ChAtRoOm StyLe, or if you don't Capitolize your "i" pronouns, but spelling and grammar are very important for a professional appearance.
  • The logo in the lower right hand corner is created of two graphic files, and they do not appear properly connected in Mozilla 1.3.
  • You might want to consider going to a table or CSS based layout, as frames suck (they make bookmarking almost impossible, and they have other disadvantages as well).
  • Your dark blue links do need to be a lighter blue color by default, or some other color, so they can be more easily seen.
  • The images on your sites page are large versions (with corresponding large files sizes), and the thumbnails take forever to load on dialup. You need to make separate images, which have been resized in Photoshop, for your thumbnails. Remember: resizing images to a smaller size in HTML is bad, because the entire image must be downloaded before it can be resized, and it needlessly wastes the time of a dialup viewer.
Overall, I think your layout is pretty good, but the code implementation and content are lacking in a few areas. With a little work you will have a very nice site. Good luck. 🙂

Edit: Even though it matters no more to the current discussion than the size of any male's principal reproductive organ, I'm 16 years old, and this is a small FAQ site I did. The layout is done entirely in CSS (with no tables).
