For some reason, the washing machine likes to walk around while its on spin cycle. Every time, it walks right into the laundry door, making it difficult to open (a good 5-6 inches from where it started).

Any idea how to remedy this?

Check the feet (levelers) and make sure they are level. Also make sure your load is balanced....not to much heavy stuff on one side or the other of the tub.

level it
and be sure the clothes are evening distributed around the drum when you load it

don't put all the big/heavy stuff on one side

Is it a front loader on a riser stand? If so, good luck. I've managed to minimize the movement of mine by getting the weight equally distributed on all four legs as best I could.

I should say that mine wasn't walking around nearly as much as yours.

Ours walks that much too, but im too lazy to level it. All the feet are on the floor, so it doesnt wobble or anything, but I guess the weight isnt even.

That's what I found. I installed it myself and double and triple checked the level of it. Finally, I loosened the jam nuts and started turning the adjusters using a very light touch. I found that one corner needed nearly a quarter turn. It didn't rock either initially, but afterwards it had a much more solid "feel" to it.

It still moves, but much less.
