My wallet was stolen today... **update 3-17-2004** CC's were recovered!

We're not exactly sure when it happened, but someone broke into our dressing room at the hockey rink during our game tonight and all of us (well all but 2) had everything stolen. Wallets, watches, cell phones, one guy lost his wedding ring, etc...

I lost my wallet that had $75 in cash, (had CC, SIN, drivers licence, etc) and an awesome watch my girlfriend bought for me!

We have a couple police officers on our team, so I'm sure the people are gonna be a little weirded out when they see they have some police badges...

**Update 3-17-2004**

The police recovered one wallet that contained every CC of ours (the hockey team) that was stolen. They are being taken in for finger print identification.

They are not sure that they will get anything from the cards, but there is always a chance. I hope they find the person/people who ripped us off!

Sucks. I once lost a Subway card that needed two more stamps for a free footlong.

Hope your wallet turns out. I always lose my wallet but it usually ends up on the corner of the car seat. It keeps falling out. 😕
 
man that sucks. was the locker room locked? if so... who has keys? or is it one of those kick the door down jobs?
 
that sucks man....I still haven't had anything stolen from me in my 18 years of life *knocks REALLY HARD on wood*

i got enough stamps for a footlong 😀 i'm working on my next subway card now. i wonder if i can collect like 10 free subs all at once?

That really sucks, worst part to me would probably be having to call all my cc companies & ordering a new license...what a hassle.

Well, here is what we think happened. In the last 5-7 minutes of the game, we had a player ejected from the game. He went to the dressing room and got in the shower. When he got in the shower, the dressing room door was unlocked, and everyone else was still on the bench. We think it must have happened at that moment.

The room was locked the whole time before, and the lock wasnt busted.

Nah, he's in my comp sci class and he's always asking me to give him code because he's too much a moron to do it himself. I wrote a scrambler program that scrambles all my comp sci programs and gave it to him. The look on his face was priceless... first it was "WTF IS THIS!?!" and then "why does this get so many errors when it compiles."
