My wallet is gone, and I can't find it. Crap...

As I was about to get onto the bus to go to work this morning, I discovered my wallet wasn't in my tote bag where I normally keep it. So, I decided to drive home to look for it. I look everywhere and it's nowhere in sight. I think I left on the bus coming home yesterday, but it's still odd that I forgot to put it in my bag.

I'll probably know by 1:00 if the Metro Bus service has found it. I hate this -- EVERYTHING vital to me except for my keys, palm pilot, and checks are in it. Heck, I drove to and from the bus stop WITHOUT my drivers license. Not good.

Well, if it doesn't show up, I guess I should call the credit card companies/banks/etc... to cancel everything, right? Ugh. :|

yeah, you should do that very soon. not worth the trouble if some asswipe tries to go on a spending spree w/ your cc's.

I think you should just call your CC company now and warn them to deny any huge charges on your card until you tell them not to.

I used to lose my wallet / keys all the time.

After repeatedly setting off the alarm at work in the server room upstairs [due to lack of keys] and losing my wallet, and finding it with all of the cash gone, I kind of learned the hard way.

I usually leave my wallet in my pants. Then I frantically search for the last pair I wore and sure enought, its always there...

It's called a park and ride -- people park at a bus stop and climb on a bus that takes them downtown on the relatively fast HOV lane. It eases traffic congestion and so forth.
