I just installed my new mobo/cpu. I haven't reformatted. I ran 3DMark and it freezes in halfway. I've installed all the latest drivers.

I bumped the volts from 1.5 to 1.6 for AGP (didn't work)
I am currently formatting to see if it helps.

I really REALLY hope my video card isn't broken...it wasn't cheap ...please help
Thanks!

Using:
MSI Geforce6800 AGP 128MB
Thermaltake 480W
Venice 3000+
MSI K8N Neo2P
PNY 2x512MB PC2700

It's definatley a heat issue. Have you downloaded the latest drivers from nVidia? That would be a great start. Also, consider buying a 5250 BTU air-conditioner and have it blow cold air directly into your case. It's better and safer than water-cooling. I bought mine for $179.99 Canadian ($141.72 U.S.).🙂

your video card freezes? i would say "my computer freezes"...but yeah, it is a video issue.

Check the temps, dont OC if you are, make sure you have the molex connector plugged into the card, um...it might be a defective card, i dunno.
