My UT2004 map

Hmm, i just checked it out.

Quality is good, but it's just too small.
Even for like 2 players, it's too cramped IMO.

Would be fun for LAN party spamfests though 😀
 
Yea, I know the size is the biggest drawback. I couldn't think how to expand it after i got so far. Maybe a little bit too "vertical". Thanks for giving it a whirl though 🙂.
 
I'll check it out later. I never did any mapping because I didn't have the patience to do anything more involved than "Big Square Room With One Texture and a Bunch of Rocket Launchers".
 
You should post some screenshots.

I made a pretty big one for instagib/low grav DM that was fun.

And just some other mess around stuff.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth a million!

Cool little place, you could have some frantic matches in there hah.

To make it bigger you could always be lazy and copy/paste that room 4 times then connect with some tunnels.

edit: Do you have a server to host it on? Map making kinda gets old fast when you can't play your maps...

hehe copy and paste.. maybe i will sometime.

as for server, my dsl is only about 300kb/s down and 50kb/s up. not sure how many ut2004 players i could have. then again, the only time people would be playing is when i ask friends.
