God save us from USB. I have a Microsoft Intellimouse with Intellieye, a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro USB, and a Logitech Rumblepad (good vibrations). Unfortunately, they won't consistently work. After a while, it seems as if they just turn off. The LEDs on the gamepad shut off and the red light on the optical mouse turns off. And nothing works. If I disconnect them, reboot, and then reconnect them, they'll work for a while, but then shut off again.

Sys Specs:
AMD Duron 600 @ 700
ABIT KT7-RAID
128 mb SDRAM
2xIBM DTLA30703 in RAID
Hercules 3D Prophet II MX
Other stuff.....

Have the same prob with the same MB!
I think its a KT7 problem
Maybe a Via chipset problem with no MS patch?

It seems to be a KT7 problem... quite a few people have had this problem with the KT7 and one review noted this problem also.

I sometimes inexplicably get a hub transfer request failure and have to reinstall the driver which takes a few secs, or reboot and then it's all fine.
