my urine is unusually murky...help?

Stop drinking soda all day, eating junk food and being a lazy couch (or computer chair) potato.

If you haven't ingested enough fluids, your urine could be murky.

If any burning, stinging or pain is associated with the urination, it could also be an STD.

Odds are you just need to drink more water, as several other posters have mentioned.

well you see it in the bowl...

Any other signs or symptoms that you are feeling? and besides murky I need a kind of better description then that, what have you been eating and drinking within the last 24 hours? How many CC's(or ounces) of fluid have you taken in the last 24 hours? What is the general color? And a question thats more personal is your sexual activity in the last 24 hours....PM me if you dont want to answer any of these questions with a public post.

You know you've drank enough water when your urine is clear. Well, an old rule-of-thumb that I've went by, please correct me if I'm wrong.

It's rumored that if you inhale 100 curies of T3 (about eight signs) your pee will glow. Of course that is utter nonsense according to a nuclear physicist I know but it just sounds so funny. 🙂

Brown? from watching House, M.D. that could indicate muscle death. Or leprosy, alzheimers, termites, cancer . . . .

lol thats doubtful. it's just a murky yellow.

actually, i'm starting to think that a piece of unflushed toilet paper just dissolved in there

Murky yellow is probably just something you ate or drank like I said if you could so politely tell me what you've ate or drank I can tell you if it's that 😛

Aha! Thats our culprit, d@mn fatty fast food, probably just a little excess fat/protein from that fast food you ate

EDIT: Nursing student work at a hospital in Detroit

When I was a kid I used to dehydrate, and my piss came out like snot. I mean, it was all thick and gross. VK.

It could either be a sign of infection (accumulating white blood cells coming out) or a lot of excess protein. The latter may or may not be something to worry about. I got a urinalysis as part of a routine checkup once and it indicated that my urine was officially turbid. The doctor didn't say anything, though.
