Cooler Master RC-590, can have up to 8 120mm fans and one 80mm (I think I can get 7 120's in it, since I "do" have drives.)
Xigamtek 120mm HSF and retention bracket (I already have silver 5)
4-fan controller 5.25"
and a 4-pack of 120mm fans. Medium CFM and Low dBa!

Side note: Why are the prices on the Q6600 and E8400 not dropping in the last year more than .. $20??

That's a crapload of fans... lol.

Even if they're quiet fans, with 8 of them they'll get pretty loud. If you ever get that far, you may as well pop open the case and point a room fan at it.

Edit:
FWIW I have a Nexus 120mm, Scythe S-FLEX medium and a Scythe Slipstream medium all undervolted, as well as an undervolted Arctic Cooling Turbo module, and I can hear the fans whirring.. :/
During quiet period the whirring overpowers the sound of the 6 idle hard drives.

That said, if there's anything else like quiet music playing, the fan noise gets masked.
