Just wanted to thank you all for your help.
I got the system together OK, and everything is running great. Very fast! I'm really happy I got the cheaper MB, less potential conflicts and saved $ of course! The CPU HS required a lot of pressure to get on, but seems like no worries now.
The GPU was the original. NOT a revised hardware or BIOS. And my card was shipped direct from Taiwan last week of July. Having said that, it is quiter than my old card, so I am happy with it at stock.
Vista is wonderful. Was particularly impressed with the firewall. No hassles with program exceptions that always gave me issues in XP. Quickest install yet as well.
Only issues were with trying to install my cell phone USB drivers and software. Errors and refused to install.
Also, BF2 kicked me from my favorite servers for an OS error. Must be a 64 vs 32 bit issue?
Anyway, intalled Assasin's Creed, and the graphics etc are better than the PS3/360 versions I have seen! Amazing!
