Think of all the time they save by INFORMING users before the upgrade, rather than having angry users calling by the dozen after the upgrade when their email clients don't work because they need to change a couple settings.

haha good luck! mich. state upgraded their email system throughout the past year and a half or so....the rough spots have been smoothed out, but in the beginning there was nothing but hassles, downtime for those that had already converted to the new system, etc. I think even at one point their RAID array had died and they had to overnight a new system in or something. lol like anything ever goes smoothly....
