My TV's screen doesn't detect a video signal

I have my pc hooked up to a benQ 37" 1080i DV3750 TV through dual link DVI for a year with no issues. Now the TV won't detect a signal coming from DVI nor the VGA for some reason. e6750 @ stock, Gigabyte P35-DS3R ( latest BIOS F12, chipset updated ), Gigabyte 8800GTS 320MB @ stock 177.83 driver, I've tried 169.21, 175.19, vista ultimate X86 updated, ThermalTake 750W modular PSU.

- The TV has a dual link DVI, VGA, component, no HDMI.
- When DVI is connected, all I see is (DVI... Searching) No post screen, nothing while booting up.
- When VGA is connected, I see post screen, loading bar, but once it goes to log-in screen, I see "VGA...Searching".. I've tried changing resolution using a 19" benQ LCD screen 800X600, 1024X768, 1280X720, changed refresh rate, 16bit, 32bit...ect
- When both VGA & DVI cables are connected to the TV from this computer, nothing shows up on either VGA or DVI on the screen.
- Ubuntu 8.4 works fine on VGA, but not DVI.
- I hooked up a P4 system, 3.00GHz, intel motherboard, integrated ATI 200, windows xp pro SP2, works fine on VGA.
- I hooked up a P3 system, 1.00GHz, intel mobo, an old ass intel integrated gfx, xp pro SP2, works fine.
- I hooked up the 19" LCD through DVI-DVI, and it works fine.

I tried dual monitor, and when both cables connected to the HDTV (VGA) & 19" LCD (DVI), neither show any screen after a reboot, I'd have to disconnect the cable going to the HDTV in order for the 19" LCD to detect a signal!!! But after that, I just hook the cable back to the HDTV and it gets detected. In Nvidia control center in my 19" LCD's screen, I can see the option to dual monitor, and it properly detects the HDTV as a DV3750, but no matter what I do ( change resolution, which is primary..ect ) the TV will just show the "VGA...Searching" no flickering or anything.
- Component seems to work fine though from the pc to the HDTV, but if I fart it flickers and goes black & white on me and I'd have to wiggle it and pray that it would bring colors back to the screen which just sux big time.

Is there anything I should/ forgot to do before I lose my mind?

seems the native resolution the dv3750 set's itself to is 1920x1080. it may not be recognizing anything below that, also, if this unit is more than a year old, then I would contact Benq to have any warranty work done.

p.s. noticed the model is a old discontinued model, I'd definitely contact Benq if there's any warranty left, if not, start shopping if you want a monitor with those capabilities. I've a 19" that was just 2 weeks out of warranty and Benq basically said sorry, and left me with a expensive and large paperweight.

The warrenty is over and that's why I'm trying to find a way to fix this myself :/

It just bugs me that I hooked up 3 different computers through VGA input and all worked fine, even this computer works fine under ubuntu via VGA, but not vista for some reason. I guess I'm gonna format this machine then. Although everything else is working fine and I'm a bit lazy to format, but I just wanted find out if I'm missing something or if there's any other thing that I should do before formating the HDD?

p.s. I'm in the market for a new HDTV, but I just wana squeese more life out of this one for the timebeing. It's less than 2 years old so WTF is wrong with new tech!

Reliability issue. Hardware failure perhaps because of some reason. Can talk with TV repairman to get quote or just keep it as it is.
