Cool! But where does the air blow out in your sub wall/box?

edit: oh so it's an open area back there, kinda creapy.

infinite baffle subs don't have ports...think of them as a huge sealed enclosure. the rear wave is isolated from the front wave and dissipates in the large volume.

Looks nice. I was going to say 'you need a bigger screen' until I saw your front projector. :)

That is a great setup. I'm thinking of doing the same type combo setup with a 700ae/900ae with pulldown screen and a Panasonic plasma when I get moved in.

thanks! i love having both...the AE700 is nice, but it is still nice to have a day to day display as well. especially when you consider lamp life.

Definitely a nice setup. I currently have a Panasonic Ae700 with a 129" diagonal screen. Best money I ever spent.

how many hours do you have on your lamp? and how far away do you have your PJ mounted from the screen.

I have a homemade screen using cotton muslin strecthed over a 1x3 frame. It is a 16x9 screen, but I have masking panels of builder's foam with black felt glued to them for 4x3
or 2.35:1 content.

Id love to get a projector....what sort of things should I look out for to get quality, crisp images in like on yours Jello? I am afraid of buying one and the imageing to be horrible when scaled. What size screen do you run?

you'll need to determine:

1. budget
2. viewing habits
3. how rainbow and/or screen door effects you
4. screen size and viewing distance
5. mounting location for the PJ

once you figure those things out, you can start to narrow down which PJ suits you.
