My Trinitron and RGBHV connection

Hey folks,

So I love my G500 Trinitron CRT!

I have always wondered about the image quality of VGA vs 5x BNC (R/G/B/H/V) since it has both connections. I can get a nice 6 foot VGA -> RGBHV cable for $10 from Monoprice, and I'm wondering if it would look any better. I'm sure for a long cable run it would be vastly superior, but for this application, I'm not so sure..

What do you guys think?

My G500 won't support the higher resolutions with the BNC RGB cable. VGA yes. PQ wise, I really can't tell the difference between the two.
