My totally over-engineered, Star Wars themed holiday lights

Would it be possible to get pics of the lights during the daytime, this request can obviously wait until after the season or whatever. And I agree with Highland, a private showing for your good buddies would be the proper thing to do imo

Sure. What are you looking for, specifically? Fair warning: if you see them up close, you see just how crappy they really are! Zip ties, duck tape, hot glue, and even band-aids. PVC pipe, plasti-dip... you name a ghetto way of building or fixing something and I have it. I even used Bondo... hehehe

That is kind of exactly what I am looking for along with string placement and things like that.

Last year, I used 36 arduinos on WiFi. Ridiculous. Not this time - I used a commercial controller: Falcon F16.

I’ll post some pics for you this weekend. Tough week for me - I actually won’t be home during the day time until the weekend. Haha!

That's an awesome setup. I want to look into it some day, I want addressable arduino/bit bang compatible lights that I can put up permanently everywhere. Including my big blue spruce. RBGA lights in there would be freaking epic. Would be an expensive project though.

You don’t need RGBA, just RGB. Think about it.

I was thinking so you only need 1 LED to be on for white, but yeah I guess it's not really required. (RGB LEDs are basically multiple LEDs in a single module)
