It would help if you list your vid card, cpu and the operating system. (and any other configurations/settings)

whoops, im running on a geforce video card right now... which brings me to anotyher question, The GEFORCE PCI card runs fine, but i got a new agp one and it wont work. Other agp cards work on this agp slot, but i figured if the geforce pci works, why wont the agp one work? grrrr....

what does WInDVD says ? it just doesn't see your DVD disk ? then first go into settings of it and change the drive letter (as you have two cd-rom's) , and then see if you have right Region set-up (again in windvd settings I believe)

Don't forget to tell resultats ; )

well, when i go to preferences it asks which region. then i hit region 1 for U.S. but then it says 4 more tiems until permanent. But i dont know if i should o this, because i dont want it to be playing only Region 1 dvds. Or do i HAVE to do this before it'll work?

umm you have to enter a region, but if you get DVD genie you can change your region whenever you want. you need to get rid of that horrid name & signature also

it's good to have two dvd programs. stick to windvd2000 for the highest video and audio quality though.

Did you change your BIOS to use AGP instead of PCI?
