Should I be worried? I had a sore throat for past week and half. Even though it never went away it was pretty well on Sunday. Now it's back.

Unless you're noticing severe problems or complications with it being sore, (like you can't breathe or something) then I wouldn't worry about it...

I've had a sore throat for 2 weeks straight and it sucked 🙁

The comma should go after time. Actually, you could optimize the entire sentence by saying "For the first and maybe only time, I agree with Jerboy".

As for your throat, it's either allergies or strep. Get a doctors opinion, or you'll never know for sure.

It's most likely cancer. My advice is to enjoy life before the doctors remove half of your neck, causing you to be shunned by society, and subsequently forcing you into a life of panhandling. And if I ever see you, I'll be sure to give you one bottlecap and a kick to the groin.

Anyway, Jerboy, have somebody check the back of your throat for white spots. Other than that, you'll need a doc to properly diagnose a swab culture or blood test. Oh, and losenges are VERY helpful. Try finding the kind that have numbing qualities as well. Good luck.

I had a friend. whose mother was having throat pain, panicking and unable to breathe. Who was also in a lot of pain. She went to the ER and had to be scoped. Diagnosis--??? A peice of chicken hung in her throat.
