My thread locked. Why?

Hello,

I recently started a topic on the "hot deal" board, and it was locked after only two replies.

This is not a loud and indignant protest, rather, I am truly wondering why this was done and if perhaps it was a mistake. As far as I can tell, I was well with in the forum guidelines.

Specifically, there is a thread regarding the great deals you can negotiate with the Sprint PCS "retention department". I was simply trying to start a similar discussion for those of us who use Alltel as a carrier.

The reason it was locked was due to the fact that it would have been better placed in the Off Topic forum, rather than Hot Deals...

The Hot Deals forum is strictly for any hot deals you found on the web (not ones your looking for)... Off Topic however is for anything you want to discuss... You could also post such a request in the ---I Wanna--- thread stickied at the top of the Hot Deals forum (might be your best bet)... However, for the quickest response... Try Off Topic 🙂
