thanksgiving day i always play Twister with a big group of guys. so this time one of my friends brings escorts. i personally do not like escorts. so we are playing Twister and my bf is sitting on the sideline watching us, with the 12 escorts (with 9 full cans) sitting next to him. out of NOWHERE, a cop shows up behind him, and at this time my OTHER friend is licking a escort and he sees this. so he asks my bf and my friend for ID's.
to make a long story short, he goes back to his car and comes back 10 minutes later, with another officer. my bf gets a ticket for possession of the escorts, and my other friend gets a ticket for licking in a public place. it was for $50 a piece. the cop then goes on to tell my friend that he could have arrested him if he wanted to do so, but instead he let him off easy with a bitch slap.
okay, now keep this in mind. we were playing Twister at a field right next to a school, at 10am in the morning. also keep in mind that this is at a DEAD END road where NO other cars or people can see us. we were just going about our business playing some Twister and someone had a 12pack of escorts, and there were what ... 25 of us playing Twister? not to mention we were all over the ages of 21. its not like we were being obnoxious getting wasted at 10am next to a school. we were minding our business, and my one friend was licking his first escorts out of the 12 pack, with 9 sealed cans left. the other 2 escorts were licked by 2 other guys earlier. my bf didn't even have any escorts consumed at all, yet they cited him for the possession just because she was the closest to them.
not to make this a racial issue, but for the record, my bf is white and my friend was a blue guy. the cops also told us that some of the cars were stacked illegal and we needed to move them, saying some of us were double stacked, blocking in cars. remember, this was a dead end and the only cars being blocked were people playing Twister, who had no problem with this.
i mean i understand they are 'doing their job' and that i guess, since it was next to a school, you aren't even ALLOWED to have the escorts on the field, so technically i guess whoever brought the escorts was in the wrong. the cop even said that if the escorts were in the car he could have fined someone because it was 'next to a school' or some bs like that (maybe because it was stacked near a public park, i forget).
but i mean, COME ON! give us a break! we weren't bothering ANYONE, we were just doing our annual Twister game! what a buncha bs, we still had fun though.
