Your arrogance, and your idiocy, is astounding. It's not YOUR car to drive any way you see fit, twit. And I'm sure GM would have appreciated hearing that you had reckless abandon with a car that wasn't yours. 😉

I call shens all over this based on a lot of different things, but whatever.

Go work your two jobs.

glad to see you liked the S4 😀 im a bit surprised at your interior comment, since audi generally sets the standard for interior quality. have fun on the continuing car hunt! 🙂

it wasn't the quality per se i mean the seats, trim etc were great. More the controls and the console. I would rank acura number 1 so far as controls and console go.

Having purchased the G35 (Sport, went with the Auto) Sedan, the bang for the buck factor is hard to beat. This car is amazing (and considering what else is in the stables, that should mean a fair amount)...and I find it amusing how you define your 'budget' when including a 60k car....and that the salesman didn't beat the living hell out of you for doing what you 'said' you did coming onto that on-ramp.

lol.....he is a salesman he would be an idiot to say anything about my driving. When test driving a car of that caliber I will drive it anyway I see fit. In the event he did try to condemn my driving I would have certainly returned to the dealership and made certain to express to the GM why I wouldn't consider buying my vehicle from them.
Yeah, a salesman trying to sell a sports car is the last person that should tell you to slow down or something, unless you really have no idea what you're doing. You've gotta be careful though, otherwise you'll end up doing 120+ in these cars without knowing it - it doesn't take very long at all to get up there.

not to mention before he turned the controls over to me he was whipping it up side streets at 75 mph

If you don't mind any recommendations, I'd recommend a Mercedes C55 (the body and engine are changing for 2008, so you probably could find it for S4 or slightly less than S4 pricing) and an IS350 (IS-F isn't out yet and when it is, probably S4 pricing range).

I thought they didn't make a C55 this year?!?

Depending on the dealership, they may actually be looking forward to these test drives - it's a nice change from just selling whatever family sedan they usually sell.

It's an Audi Dealership....smallest car they have there still has 200HP and is turbocharged. 😛 (unless they have VW's there, and even then, that still holds true).

you're right. however, a few dealerships still have '06 c55s on their lots. additionally, there a plenty of used ones in the 1000-5000 mile range. i did a quick search on autotrader and one dealership had an '06 c55 with 54 miles for 52.9k fully loaded. I'm sure they're getting eager in clearing their c55 stock and you can probably negotiate a much better price on it. I might be picking up an '03, or '04 C32 tomorrow myself (hopefully everything checks out with it).

Glad you liked the S4. I'm with Fenixgoon on the interior, but its preference. I really like the interiors of Audis, you don't, no biggie. To each their own. Enjoy your car hunt 🙂

Sorry to bump a 2 week old thread, but did you ever test drive the 335? Or buy something?

I test drove the C32 and it was fast but I was really... really disappointed with the interior (steering wheel and seats were nice, that's it). Opted to pass on it.

RE: the 335-

I just ordered a e90 335 (sedan).

If you're concerned about the rear wheel drive aspect of it for winter-why not forgo the convertible (if you're in a wintery type place) and get a 335xi 4 wheel drive?

I drove a 335i last week for a little bit and it's one helluva a car. Definitely the fastest car I've ever driven...the twin turbo is no joke. It might not fall in the price range of some of the other vehicles but it's definitely bad ass.

I would take an Audi or Lexus over a beamer any day, but that's just me. I hate the new BMW body style. I also hate that iDrive stuff or whatever that system is called they use for their navigation.
