This motherfucker just fucked up my teacher's life. He's in critical condition right now but his wife and one of his twins are now dead because of this stupid worthless piece of shit driver that fled from the scene...

He was a pretty chill teacher too. Let me hang out inside his room during lunch and do stuff (like use electronics and stuff)

It's gonna be a rough day when I get back to school on Monday...:(

I don't know if I'd want to be saved at that point, depending on the injuries.. how terrible.

Probably not here legally in the first place, and probably didn't have insurance.

:(

What a worthless excuse of a human being who would leave an accident like that without trying to help.
The article says he abandoned his truck, so he didn't just drive away, he had to get out of his vehicle. He could have even tried to help, to demonstrate that there still might be some merit in his continued existence, but he didn't even do that. Hell would be too kind for him. Disgusting.

Sorry this happened.

But as an ex-trucker driver I take offense that you say this loser was a truck driver, he was driving a pick up, not a truck.

Yeah, pickup truck != truck driver. If it was a big truck my guess is the guy would be dead too. Honestly if I was in his shoes, if it wasn't for the other daughter being alive I'd want to be dead too.

After seeing the suspect's truck, I wonder how he managed to flee. There is no justice . . .

Shortly before Christmas, Mikasa - an elementary schoolteacher - strung multicolored Christmas lights on his house for the first time.

OP is in elementary school, starting threads at 1:30am, and using such colorful language.

Tragic story though, I hope the father & remaining son are able to recover.

10:30 pm. California. There are these things called "time zones" which mean that your time is 3 hours ahead of his.

Also, note the use of the past tense in the OP. The OP is likely in high school or at least middle school.

It's gonna be a rough day when I get back to school on Monday.

I suppose he could be in a school that houses elementary and middle school aged children. Still a bit late for someone that age to be playing around online and the language used was hardly appropriate. Something's not right about this.....

Or he's referencing the fact that the teacher is well-known and even if he's in HS by now he has friends and other teachers who also remember this other man.

Given the comments about the victim in the article, it is quite likely that he taught (teaches) at a private, Christian, school, which can often mean a smaller school that will house all grades from elementary through high school within one building or at least one complex. Judging from the feedback to the stories, Mr. Mikasa has been teaching for a while now and many people who are long out of his classroom remember him very fondly.

The most likely hypothesis in my mind is that the OP is in high school at a private school and understands that this story will be on the minds of many of his fellow students as well as on the minds of many teachers when classes resume on Monday.

Actually, the article is wrong. I don't know if my teacher actually taught elementary but he's teaching at my high school right now.

And yeah, my mistake, it was a pickup, not a big rig.

Sorry mate. Anger was kind of clouding my mind and judgments.

But yeah, if it was a big rig, my teacher would have been dead already.
