Thank God I bought a house last year or I would still be Uncle Sam's bitch. Come on Congress.....get the President's tax plan, stimulus package, whatever you want to call it passed. Do it....do it NOW and make it retroactive!!!

I got one of my W-2's. Waiting on the one for the independent contractor stuff I did for the same company. I want to get my taxes done ASAP.

I'm pissed I paid $14 to eFile then found out right after I sent it I could have eFiled free cause I'm a student ..

Oh well.. still getting over $900 back.


Still need to do my State taxes.

Stupid Virginia won't let you eFile yet, because they're still updating software or something.

 
No e-file in Oklahoma either. The state just announced today that due to budget cutbacks there would be no e-file or file by phone. Damn cheap ass state.....budget problems my ass.....spending problems is more like it. Oh well....what do you expect in a state that since it was founded in 1907 has only had 4 Republican Governors and had a Republican controlled State Legislature for only 2 years and that was back in the 1920's. Damn Democrats have ruined this state......guess that's another thread though huh?
 
Its not that hard to do your own taxes...I got 40+ pages of tax forms (due every week) that I did by hand for a tax class.

What pisses me off is that parents get tax deduction for kids, even though kids use taxes for education, etc.
I think parents should pay more taxes.
