you ought to spend your money on a tax advisor instead so you dont have such large tax returns.

I dissagree. The ammount of money you would gain from interest of balancing out even at the end of the year is negligable anyway. Plus, you would have the temptation to spend that which you think you have and at the end of the year, you have nothing to show for it. If you add to your monthly budget, you have a 90% chance of spending it and not saving it. At least with federal and state witholding, you never 'had' it and at the end of the year you get a nice big lump sum. I see absolutely nothing wrong with large returns. If you have the discipline to take that money and put it away, then by all means, try and even out as close as possible but most people are unable to do that. You will only make a few dollars more anyway, ~$25-50 or so on $3,000 return.

I am on workmens comp that means i get 400 a week no taxes involved.

I am partially disabled which means i can get a job within my disablity

So i make 7:15 an hour getting about 210 a week from them and 400 (no taxes from comp)

so taxes out of the 210 would equal about 30 bucks a week. I get all my money from my daughter i have full custody of my kid. I call her my little tax diduction.

so in all i pay very little in taxes but i get some much back because of all my deductions.

plus the 3k i paid in daycare is all tax deductable. i dont need a tax advisor i pay very little in

but ot get all this i had to pay a high price i was making 60k a year without a college degree then triped on a medal spike hernated 4 disk. so i wasnt able to go back to that job.
so they put me on a partial disablity =400 a week i can get a job anywerhe i want making that money.

and last but not least they pay for my college education as long as the educatin is withing my restrictions. (up to a bachaleors degree)

I am also very lucky because me and my daughter had to move back into my parents house which kinda sucks but i have very few bills. i make over 2k a month after taxes so i have the opertunity to spend my money on what i want. Thats why i upgraded a few months ago and im goin to upgrade again. I just paid off my car just got a 50 plasma for my bed room a salt water tank. a 5.1 system for my computer a bose system a ps3 and an xbox 360.

There is nothing wrong with being excited about the future, or even speculating on future products (its done here all the time) but if you don't post realistic expections (price and/or actual products) it will simply be dismissed...

Still cheaper then my proposed skulltrail rig, IF i decide to build it. Maybe a regular penryn rig might do, and i might give Nvidia a chance with there 780i. But thats a VERY BIG maybe.

the workmens comp is paying for me to get an education so i can get a job in a field taht im physically capable of doing. Is one of the purks of be coming parially disabled. There not goin to have to pay for much because tap and fasfa pay the bulk of it. there only goin to have to pay for books for me and thats about it

edit: and since comp has to pay for it it doesnt come out of tax payer dollars. and the hell that comp has put me through over the last 2 years the least they could do is this

Firstly i dont know about 780i supporting 1600MHz FSB QX9770. I dont think it does, but that doesn't stop you from getting maybe the QX9650.

Secondly, i have no idea if the geforce 9 series will be out around April timeframe and if it will support tri SLi.

Thirdly, im jealous. If i had the luxury to spend that much, and have the latest cutting edge PC hardware, id do it. Nothings better than waking up in the morning with hot coffee on one hand and turning on such a PC for casual internet surfing. :D

Like aigomorla said, the 3xGPU will be the most costly and you could probably go with a skulltrail build which is basically dual socket motherboard (771?) with SLi.

\thanks for the info bro. more people have been stating that i should go with the qx9650 over the 9770 so i will probably go with taht one unless a newer processor comes out.

and i really hope that the 9 serious geforce is oout if it isnt im goin to wait on the graphics card and just work with my 8800 gts

Now, I'm also willing to bet that once you've got it built, and start posting a few benchmarks, you'll see a bit more excitement from the regulars. Even then, though, there will be people telling you that you're stupid for spending that much money on high-end equipment.

Of course, those same people won't be able to post benchmarks like this one or this one, will they? They also won't be able to run Crysis, or FarCry 2 @ 2560x1600 with 16x AA, will they?;)

Hey myo I did not know you was an Areca user too. 1280ML here but in my case it was a total waste of $ thus far as all I have attached to it are two raptors in raid-0. Nice thruput on that 1231!

OT rant warning:

that's a big problem with our spend-first society today. If you make 25,000 a year, then you spend 26,000 and put the extra 1,000 on a credit card. You figure that when you get a raise to 30,000, you'll just save the extra 5k. unfortunately, you spend 32k that year and put the extra 2k on credit, so now you have a 3500 credit card balance from the original 1k and interest on the 1k + 2k. now year 3 rolls around and you get a big fat raise to 37k/yr. what happens? you guessed it, you spend 42k and have 10k on credit cards after interest. by year 6 you're making 50k/year but you have 2 kids now, your wife doesn't work, and you just filed for bankruptcy.

I make decent money. I even have the money to buy a QX9770/9650/whatever, but it sucks taking a month to save a grand and spending it in 5 minutes on newegg, especially when you can wait a couple of months and get a Q9450 and end up with 9/10+ the performance for 1/4 the price. now THAT is fun. The same thing applies for the video card, I'd rather get a smokin' deal on a 3870 or 8800gt and just upgrade a little bit more often.

@OP: get 3way sli if you must, get a 780i, too, but save yourself 800-900 and get a 9450/9550 and OC the crap out of it. Your wallet will thank you, and you'll be in much better position to upgrade to nehalem/bulldozer/westmere/sandy bridge/hectorruizspecial.

Nah... Skulltrail would cost way more then this.

Intel SkullTrail Board ~600-1000
Intel QX9775 ~1200-1400 dollars EACH x 2
Silverstone Zeus850 or Etasis 850 X 2 Your going to need 2 PSU's with this much hardware.
FB-DIMM DDR2 800 2GB x 4 Each cpu should get 4gigs of ram. <prices are getting cheap on these guys :D>
6 x Raptors 150's in RAID.
Add about 1000 dollars in H2O gear
Now You can add the 3x9800 + 1 PhysX card :D

= One hell of an expensive computer, and my pockets arent that deep. :T

That hectorruizspecial has to be that high tech special invisible chip that claims it can top a C2D @ 10k ghz. I want one. :D
