Well, as some of you already noticed, I do alot of bench?s over many setups.
Until now it was all Intel based, but now got my first AMD rig?
As soon as I get more time, I will produce a ?review? like I always do... Tests
So, during my 15 days of playing around to try to understand how the A64 and mobo works, I made this Excel sheet with all the numbers.
There's a main sheet and several detaileds ones for every test.
It can be usefull for the people who are buying right now A64, or those that already have them and trying to get it better in OC.
Quick explanation of the columns :
- CPU = Actual speed in Mhz
- X = Multiplier
- FSB = HTT of A64
- MEM = Actual Speed of the memories in Mhz
- V = Voltage in BIOS
- +% = Percentage given on BIOS option
- Real = Real Voltage given by the board
- Timming of the memories
- Core = Speed of the core of the FX5500
- Mem = Speed of the Memory of the FX5500
- CPU = Sandra CPU benchmark
- MM = Sandra MM benchmark
- Mem = Sandra Memory benchmark
- Pi = 1st = SuperPi 1MB, 2nd = SuperPi 2MB
- Boinc = Internal Benchmark of Boinc to see ?actual? speed in actual software, other then sintetical ones from Sandra or Super Pi
- Cpumark = Value of Cpumark
- PR+ = Rating given by Central Brain Identifier at the P-Rating string, or an raw equivalente to AMD PR rating instead of actual speed in Mhz
- N-Bench = CPU only value of Nvidia own benchmark, N-Bench_V3
The 3D section is easy to understand 😉
Please feel free to ask anything about the Excel sheet or about computer.
The components used are on the sig below.
