My sound doesn't work!

I was trying to install new drivers for my sound card when my system crashed.
I re-booted and my sound didn't work at all. I also couldn't see and drivers for my card.
So I tryed re-installing the drivers and it said that I was missing a bunch of windows sound drivers.

what do I do

Did it ask for the Windows CDROM when it said the files were missing? Try removing the device completely from the device manager and then restart. When the computer reboots try reinstalling the drivers.

You might unpack the drivers to a new folder labled as such then uninstall the sound device. When windows reboots it will look for drivers then steer it to the new folder. Good luck
