I have this Sony KV-32XBR96S
-32 inch television. When I turn the TV on, it turns off and on repeatedly by itself. Sometimes after a while, it stays on, but recently, it just stopped doing so. I continues to turn on and off, anyone have any solutions or something for this? Thanks!

Sounds like you'll need to get it repaired. It's probably something minor but nothing I'd want to fool around with!
How old is the TV? Don't sony's have a 1yr warranty

This tv's passed warranty =(

You sure it isn't the <Power> button just simply sticking? The times where it stays on could be the hardware eventually slipping back into place (i.e. button not depressed). If the power button is sticking, it would make sense that it turns on and off repeatedly.

On my TV, there's a button that says "multi" that turns the TV on and off about five times. I'm not sure what it's for, but could you accidentally be hitting that button (if your remote has one)?

Yea, I don't think it's a sticky button because sometimes it would be fine for a long time and start.

There is no multi key and it also has the problem with the remote way far away.

Thanks for the tips though guys!

I wouldn't fix it yourself unless you're real careful, because the capacitors in TV's can kill you (no bull, although they've gotten better at bleeding the power out of them).

its a power supply prob
