My Sony headphones are starting to come apart

The wire is now starting to splice. You know how the cables comes out of the headphone jack as one piece, then as it goes to your earphones they split apart into L and R? Well, that split is now moving closer and closer to the jack. As a result these cables are getting tangled up. Any way of putting it back together?

Pics in a sec when I do it in paint...

The red circle gets lower.. as a result, the two red arrows will tangle together making it a PITA to untangle each time.

I though about tape, but tape looks messy... and un professional... glue maybe?

electrical tape - its black you wont see it, it will work fine, better then glue which wont work

you coud always get some heat shrinking tupeing and put the headphones througth it and heat shrink it to the wires, thats a pain tho

I'll try black electrical tape. Yes, I know the pic is bad. I timed myself at 30 seconds to make that pic. 😛
