So, I washed my shoes last night, kept them in the drier for aout 80 minutes (so it's not like they're wet), and now every time I step on my right shoe it squeaks. Needless to say, this is driving me insane. How do I cure this? I'm going to throw them out if I can't get this squeaking to stop. :|

dry 'em more with a hair dryer or something
or if that doesn't work, walk around in them - it should wear off

Soak them in a bucket with three drops lemon oil to one gallon of water. Soak for about an hour. Rinse them well. Spray the soles with pine-scented air freshener.

It won't stop the squeaking, but they sure will smell nice. :)

Get new sneakers.....

Actually they probably aren't totally dry. Let them dry some more.

You have no idea how many times I sprayed these shoes with air freshener. Nothing worked. I've never had smelly feet before but I swear these shoes accumulate and amplify stink.

I guess I will try drying them for another 1 1/2 hrs tonight. Till then, SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK !!!
