My sister almost electrocuted me this morning

I woke up and made my way into the kitchen, and immediately realized that something wasn't right. There were coffee grounds all over the floor, in the cat's water, in the sink and on the counter. The coffeemaker had been moved from its original location, and a quick peek in the dishwasher revealed that the clean dishes I'd washed yesterday were in there, covered with coffee grounds.

After I cleaned it all up, I poured out the coffee from the pot - of course, there were coffee grounds in the pot, obviously left over from my idiot sister who does this EVERY morning. I swear, anybody except her can work a coffeemaker - there are grounds in the coffee EVERY day. Today, however, it looked like the coffeemaker had exploded. Of course, since she's so self-important and has a $50/hr. job, she just leaves me to do the cleanup.

When I picked up the coffeemaker to move it, coffee poured out from the bottom. Curious to see what other damage she'd caused, I unscrewed the bottom plate, only to find coffee covering all the electronics, and from what I could tell, the power source too.

Jeez...if I'd happened to turn on the coffeemaker this morning, I could have been electrocuted!

I'd take a handful of moist, used grounds and sprinkle her bed/car/clothes liberally with them

I have pics of the coffee damage on my cell phone, but I don't have a data cable. As for pics of my sibling, you wouldn't be impressed.

Good idea, but I'm plotting to exact my revenge in other, more dastardly ways. Such as pouring a little bleach into the washer on the day I know she's doing laundry. ;)

Are you the one who lives with his sister and got pissed one time because she drank all your milk or something?

If you've never lived with your sibling after high school, DON'T DO IT. They will drive you crazy. Seriously, I'm going batty here...she does this kind of crap all the time. Several times, I've opened the washer less 15 minutes after a cycle completes only to find she's already thrown a pair of sweaty dirty socks into my clean load of wash. WTF. :|

I already sent her an email saying if she wants to break a coffee maker she should buy one on the way home. After mine dries out, it's going in my room for good.

Leave the mess, break the coffee-maker. See how she likes that.

if your sister makes $50/hr, I'm sure she can afford some starbucks or something instead...just hide your coffeemaker

I'd like to, but I just can't bring myself to leave a mess in the kitchen. I cleaned it up already.

Heh...I found some V8 in the fridge. Should I pour it on the book she bought yesterday? I think it cost about the same as my coffeemaker, about $15.

I can't afford to move out. She, on the other hand, makes the wages she does and chooses to eat out every night, but decides to live with me because she doesn't want to spend $600/mo. for an apartment. Since she's been here (she moved in with her cat without asking me back in April), she's 'accidentally' broken the fridge, the washing machine, and somehow, somehow, the air conditioner.

The obvious solution is to stop drinking coffee.
