My simple diet and exercise plan

I'm open to all tips, critiques, and suggestions.

Right now I live an extremely sedintary life style, I get winded walking up 4 flights of stairs so I take the elevator to my apartment.
I pretty much use the computer, read books, or watch tv all day.
Eat 2-3 meals a day(most of which are fast food), usually around 1pm, 9pm, and 2am.
I'm not afraid of cooking, I just don't know what to cook or what to shop for.
I'm 25, 5'8", and about 205lbs w/ little muscle.

My goal is to try to hit 180lbs by year's end and to just be more active overall.

For the diet I was think something like this:

Breakfast(8:00am) Juice, cottage cheese w/ fruit, maybe an egg

Snack(?) maybe a piece of fruit (banana, apple, orange, etc)

Lunch(12ish) Some kind of green leaf salad with tomatos/carrots and a light or oil based dressing, possibly w/ a meat

Snack(?) maybe something crunchy like pretzels

Dinner(7-8ish pm) Grilled/Baked Fish(tuna, mahi mahi) or Chicken dish with brown rice/multigrain pasta and vegetables with a light sauce

As for exercising I have an exercise bike in my room. I was thinking at first maybe 30-45mins every other day then working up to 1.5-2hrs a day a few months down the line
I can also to push-ups and sit-ups in my room
