My side project hit the frontpage of Lifehacker

Awesome! Always fun when something you make ends up "out there" so to speak. I've been looking at starting a few projects myself, well, one, I just have to pick it. Hoping it can somewhat make it "big". I keep having all these ideas and only take them half way. I need to finish them till the end! I've been spending too much time on my game server, which at this point, is such an old game, there is just no return anymore. Time for something new.

That is exactly how I felt. I've been coding in my spare time for the past 6 years or so and I would come up with ideas every month. I finally forced myself to pick one project and work on it until it completes. My biggest issue was the designing aspect since I'm not creative. Luckily, I found a template and I hacked it to pieces. 🙂

This is awesome. Imagine a mobile app for your smartphone that just lets you take picture of the thing like a lamp, computer, tv and puts them up in the right category...

Great idea! Sure beats the Excel sheet I have (easier to backup too).

They wouldn't need a list if they wanted to rob you. That's like saying if someone hacked into Mint, they would know how much money you have so they'll rob you.
