I have been helping someone out with SETI and last night I turned it on to do some SETI for him. When I wake up the Seti (text mode) screen is gone and the SetiSpy says "unknown." I try to run it again and it tells me that it cannot find a file, states (or something). So I try my account. It starts up and I leave for class. I come back and the Seti text is closed and my spy says "unknown." I try to run the seti client again and it says it cannot connect to the server and will retry in an hour. What the deal is going on?? Is it me or is it Seti?? My seti name is azerch. LMK.
 
Berkeley has been having problems all day long. You should probably look at getting Seti Driver so you can cache WUs and connect to the TeAm proxy. If you need help with getting them set up then post back here and we will take care of you. 😀
 
SETI client and SETI Spy sometimes give this odd problem. I really don't know what causes this problem. To fix it, follow these steps.

Stop the SETI client
Close SETI Spy
Delete the file "setispy.ini"
Run SETI Spy again and reset all your configurations (proxy, client control etc)

That should be able to save your WU progress. If SETI still halts, you will need to delete all .sah files in the SETI folder and start over again.
