Only gripe about the show is too little singing, too much filler. And I can do without the sob stories.

Is it just me, or do Ben Folds and Dana Carvey look like identical twins?
 
Yesterday's show featured the "Beelzebubs" and their cover of "Magical mystery tour" was just a gas, I loved it..

the group with sob stories got booted first night lol.

i love how easily i can tell who's on top and who's at the bottom in that all girl college group.

I missed it last night unfortunately. But yeah, after seeing it tonight, it better be the Bubs and Nota at the end, otherwise people just don't have a fucking clue what good music is.
 
I hate this show out of spite for one of the Quality Engineers who, apparently, is good friends with a few people from the group from Cleveland, TN, and has been annoying me about it all week. "Voices of Lee....," how original, did they happen to get that from ultra-religious university in Cleveland?...blah.
 
The Beelzebubs are awesome and very entertaining to watch. I am pulling for Voices of Lee though because it is affiliated with the Church of God which I am affiliated with 🙂

This -- I could do without all of the filler. Singing / performance, maybe 1 minute information about the entire group. I don't want to know about religious affiliation, poverty status, etc.
 
The group that was on the first episode, Face, is from around here and sometimes they do shows at my school. They have free previews for the shows every time and they always suck. Not a bunch of people are whining about them loosing, and I am glad.
 
I like having The Sing-off since Glee is off the air until next year. 🙁 I was disappointed by The SoCals tonight, seeing as how they're all alum of the SoCal Vocals, who were the 2008 ICCA champions...then again, they probably only recently came together while groups like Nota have much more experience (and it shows).

The Bubs are the same, right? Like, their group is made up of former members? I didn't see their intro yesterday...curious that they would use the name though, while the SoCals don't.

The Bubs are active, the SoCals were alumni

Sad to see them go 🙁

I dig the show, except for Nicole. Dear god she is a terrible judge

Heh I can see that. He also looks like a grown up version of that kid from the sandlot, the one with the glasses, "squints."
 
Meh...I thought some of the competitors were very good until Boyz II Men performed, and WOW...Boyz II Men are amazingly leaps and bounds better.
