He just meant that he's not offering uncondiational support.

I understand that, but I hope he phrased it better in his response to the president. 🙂

So I go to this school full of dirty hippies most of who have not showered in a long time and they all have nothing better to do than to criticize this really good president we have that has time and time again done nothing but help, listen to and support our student body.

so i wrote an editorial telling them to back off his ass and the guy, that is to say our president rolland richmond, sent me an email thanking me.

of course i told him i just call it how i see it and he cannot expect my continued support. but really i am so pround to go to a school that has a president that is so in tune with the student body.

does your university president read the school paper?

how much of this post is humor, and how much is deadly serious?

i would say about 50/50

basically our school paper's editorial section has four letters every week bashing our president. i apparently was the first one to write one supporting the guy (and i actually do).

what i meant when i said he cannot expect my continued support is to say that just because i like what he has doen thus far i am not going to blindly support what he does next.

this is the same reason i would never join a politial party and think the whole country should be paid hourly. blind support or job security for that matter leads to complacency and an end of innovative thinking and productive work.

Thus it is a VERY big issue around here.

It is really cheap here too. I know a ton of people that take some home to the Bay Area and sell it to their friends and make a really good profit. I remember my roommate got an ounce of marajuana last year for like $50.

apparently it was the best deal ever. i can't say because i don't buy it but he wouldn't shut up about it for about a month. and i think he is still smoking it 😉
